Resubelpara, Dec 9: A fatal blow has been dealt on the Congress with its entire lot of 11 MDCs in the GHADC bidding adieu to the grand old party and marching into the Trinamool Congress house at a special public meeting and rally which is right now happening in North Garo Hills district town of Resubelpara.
Congress MDCs Cherak W Momin (Kharkutta), Sonjoy Koch (Betasing), Stevie M Marak (Boldamgre), Agassi R Marak (Balachanda), Habibuz Zaman (Shyamnagar), Lahitson M Sangma (Samandagre), Nehru D Sangma (Amongpara), Sadhiarani M Sangma (Dengnakpara), Alphonsus R Marak (Williamnagar), Rinaldo K Sangma (Rongrong) and Ferdinand Shira (Damas) are making themselves present at Resubelpara to join the Trinamool.
Only the 12th Congress MDC Ashahel D Shira is not with the Trinamool because he left the Congress in October and joined UDP to contest Rajabala by-elections where he came third. He remains with the UDP.
Trinamool CLP leader and ex-CM of Meghalaya Dr Mukul M Sangma along with 11 Garo MLAs who joined Trinamool are welcoming the GHADC MDCs. Mendipather MLA Marthon Sangma, Tikrikilla MLA Jimmy D Sangma, Ampati MLA Miani D Shira, Mahendraganj MLA Dikkanchi D Shira, Chokpot MLA Lazarus Sangma, Rangsakona MLA Zenith Sangma and Salmanpara MLA Winnerson D Sangma.
From the entrants to the Trinamool Dengnakpara MDC Sadhiarani M Sangma is the wife of Zenith M Sangma, former Congress and now Trinamool MLA.
