Nongpoh July 11: In a road accident three persons received injuries, after one truck ramped two vehicles at the National Highway-6 at Mawdiangum in Ri Bhoi District today.

One speeding truck bearing registration number ML-11 8124 which was on its way from Guwahati to Shillong lost control and ramped one Mahindra Bolero Pickup ML-10 C 0886 and one parked truck UP-22 AT 1640.

Police said that three persons received injuries and were rushed to the Civil Hospital Nongpoh for medical aid.

The injured persons include the driver of the speeding truck has been identified as Bantei Kynjing (22), Ononto Majhong (21), the driver of the Bolero Pickup and Ravi Kumar, the Co-driver of the parked truck.

Nongpoh Police Station Traffic Branch rushed to the spot to conduct the enquiry. Investigation is on.
