In view of the Covid-19 pandemic and increasing cases, almost all the official works are taking place through the online process. Even the student community are totally dependent upon on the network service as the classes have been taking place through online process including the examinations. But the pitfall reality is that the above mentioned networks are providing very poor service in the regions, Azad said.
As per a circulation on 11th May 2021 on the Facebook page of District Administration, West Garo Hills, Tura, Jio was putting 4 towers in Tikrikilla Bazar stretch.
“Instead of improvement in the network service it is getting poorer day by day and as a result people, especially the student community are unable to do work through online process,” he expressed.
He mentioned that many complaints had been filed by people in the past, but no initiative has been taken up for improving the telecom services.
