Arunachal: CBI and ED probing APPSC question paper leak

Itanagar, April 13: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) are currently investigating the alleged APPSC question paper leak case in Arunachal Pradesh, informed that state’s Chief Minister, Pema Khandu on Wednesday.

While addressing the interactive session with representatives of all Community Based Organisations (CBOs), chief minister Pema Khandu stated that as per public demand as well as the state government’s request, the CBI and ED have taken over the case and will be investigating on the case independently.

Khandu termed the coming of CBI and ED’s investigation as one blow to all corrupt individuals roaming freely in the state.

“Corruption, drugs, law and order are not new issues. These have been prevailing since the last many years but no government ever took strong action to curb these. Just because we are dealing with these ills with iron hands, it feels like these are issues of our time,” Khandu stated.

So far, 41 government employees, including 20 regular employees, 20 employees under probation and one contractual staff, have been arrested in connection with the paper leak scam.
