Guwahati, Nov 02:Â An alleged case of kidnapping came to light in Assam’s Tezpur on Thursday. Three children were reportedly abducted from an orphanage in Tezpur on Wednesday.
According to the caretakers, the children were playing outside the orphanage when, after a while, they went missing.
The children went missing from the Snehabandhan Children’s Home, situated in the Bhairapad area of Tezpur.
It is suspected that the three children were allegedly abducted by some unidentified miscreants.
A complaint has been filed by the authorities of the children’s home at a local police station.
Meanwhile, police have started an investigation into the matter.
“All aspects, including abduction, are being thoroughly investigated,” said a police official.
