“We have plan to complete double dose of vaccine for all students of 15-18 years before board exams of 10th and 12th in March and April. Every day each district will have 10 to 20 schools as vaccination centre,” a health department source said.
“We have plans to wrap up first dose of vaccination for 15-18 years with in a week. The schools have been asked to prepare the list of eligible students; parents need not do Cowin registration,” he added.
In Assam districts, 42 lakh Covid vaccine doses are currently in stock, whereas in the state vaccine store in Guwahati, 24 lakh more doses have been kept for future use as of Monday.
