Shillong, Aug 19: The Autumn session of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will be held from September 10 to 17, 2021. Three days have been allocated for government business and three days for private.
Meghalaya Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh on Thursday informed that the Business Advisory Committee of Assembly sat to discuss the parliamentary affairs which were presented by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, leader of opposition Dr. Mukul Sangma, MLA Ampareen Lyngdoh, MLA Balajied Synrem, and other officials have proposed the calendar for the Autumn session.
According to the calendar issued by Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Commissioner and Secretary, Dr. Andrew Simons, on September 10, the Government business would be Speaker to announce the Report of the Business Advisory Committee.
The Speaker to announce the name of the Members nominated by him to the Panel of Chairmen. Laying of Ordinances, Orders, Notifications, Reports, Rules and Regulations, etc. Introduction of Government Bills. Presentation of Supplementary Demands for Grants and Supplementary Appropriation for 2021-22 and Obituary References.
