Writing on behalf of the Society of A•chik Film and Entertainment (S.A.F.E), President Dominic Megam Sangma pointed out that the Talent Lab, modeled after prestigious programs like Berlinale Talents and Locarno Filmmakers Academy, offers a remarkable platform for emerging filmmakers to train, network, and engage with industry professionals.

Supriya will have the chance to pitch her debut feature film, “The Honeybee Girl,” as both Director and Producer.

“This esteemed program selects only twenty filmmakers worldwide each year and features masterclasses, panels, and workshops. Past mentors have included renowned filmmakers such as Luca Guadagnino, Jim Jarmusch, Bela Tarr, Darren Aronofsky etc,” said Dominic Sangma.

However, participation in the Talent Lab requires a fee of 165,000 ISK (approximately Rs. 1 lakh), and additional expenses for flights and visa amount to nearly the same.

Dominic has urged upon all to come forward and aid Supriya Prasad to make it to the festival in Iceland.
