Shillong, Dec 16: The Shillong City District unit of the BJP will organize a Bike Rally on December 17, from 9 am onwards.
The rally will start from the Fire Brigade Iewrynghep Ground and culminate at the State Party Office at Bivar road after traversing through the city. The rally will be flagged off by the Party State President, Ernest Mawrie, MLAs and other senior functionaries.
The bike rally is being organised with the objective of raising awareness about the developmental work that has happened in Meghalaya because of the central government schemes brought by the Narendra Modi government. The rally is called “Rally for Development”.
Significantly, the rally is being organised on the eve of PM Narendra Modi’s visit to the state. PM Modi will address the people at Polo Grounds at 9 am on December 18, 2022.
