Tura, May 23: The Tura Football League continued with its 23rd Super Division match at the Chandmari Football Turf on Thursday, between BOCA Juniors and Dadenggre YC, where the BOCA team won the match with a 3-0 victory against their opponent, Dadenggre YC.
Despite the downpour, BOCA Juniors got an early head start when Abel Sangma opened up the scoreline with a goal in the 8th minute of the first half. Soon after, Balkam M. Sangma added to the lead with a goal in the 16th minute.
Meanwhile, the Dadenggre team struggled to convert their chances and maintain decent ball possession throughout the first half.
Coming back from halftime, the match became static as both teams experienced a dry spell of missed opportunities and incomplete passes. Though the Dadenggre team initially led an assault against their opponent in the second half, they were unable to successfully connect their passes and overshot their target.
As the match ensued, Salrim Marak broke the dry spell by scoring a goal in the 74th minute of the second half for BOCA Juniors. The final whistle declared BOCA Juniors the victors of the game with a 3-0 win against Dadenggre YC.
Arnith Sangma of Dadenggre YC received the first yellow card of the game in the 61st minute, and Konaton Rabha of BOCA Juniors received his yellow card in the 90th minute.
