TURA, Sept 10: Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress Committee ( MPYCC) is going to launch its “youth jodo” Campaign on 10th Sept. in Tura City.
The campaign is aimed to strengthen the Congress Party at the grass roots level across the state and the campaign will be led by Shri. Nur Sofiqul Wazid National General Secretary Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and MPYCC General Secretary Junebirth C. Marak.
Youths from different parts of Garo Hills like Dalu, Chokpot, Williamanagar, Mendipathar, Resu, Tura etc, will be attending the programme.
Apart from youth leaders prominent leaders of the party Shri. Roger Benny A Sangma, Secretary MPCC and others will join the movement.
The rally will start from Congress Bhawan and ends at Tura main bazaar.
“We invite all the youths of Garo hills to join the movement, to fight against the spirit of existing Fascism, corruption, communist. To stop unemployment, Price hike and defend our collapsing democracy of India,” informed Youth Congress leader Wellsion M Marak.
