Shillong, Jan 15: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated the new office of Medusind in Shillong on Saturday.

The inauguration event was also attended by Kranti Munje, CHRO and Ninad Chavda, CFO from Medusind.

Appreciating the company for generating such opportunities for the people of Shillong in particular and Meghalaya as a whole, Sangma also emphasized on the need for more and more companies like Medusind to set-up base in Shillong so that local youth can get employment within the state.

Medusind is a leading US-headquartered IT and ITES Healthcare organization. It has strong presence in India and the USA, with more than 4000 employees across multiple locations in India and the USA. The decision to open an office in Shillong was driven by the significant number of employees from the Northeastern region and aimed to attract local talent while also allowing existing employees from Shillong to remain connected to their home geography.
