Tura. April 23: Three teachers of a missionary school deep inside Chikasingre village of Anogre have been found positive with Covid-19 compelling West Garo Hills District Administration to close down the institution from outside entry by making it a containment zone.
“There are three positive cases detected among teachers of the school so we have made it a containment zone to allow health and surveillance workers to undertake contact tracing. Recently, some teachers had come from Manipur and joined,” informed Ram Singh.
The school provides free education and hostel facilities for scores of children, mostly from other states, and is run by the Seventh Day Adventist church. It is located a few kms from Dollonggre, on the way to Dadenggre.
