Itanagar, Jan 2: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday to inaugurate the Siyom Bridge and E-Inauguration of 27 projects of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) along with release of BRO Vision and New Tech Handbook.

This is the first visit of Rajnath Singh to Arunachal Pradesh after the recent clash at Tawang sector between the Indian Army and Chinese PLA.

Singh was scheduled to land at the IAF station in Chabua in eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh on Monday evening by a special aircraft.

On Jan 3, 2022, the Defence Minister will go to Boleng in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh where he will inaugurate a strategically important bridge.

It is to be mentioned here that the Border Roads Organization (BRO) has constructed a total of 3,097 km of roads in Arunachal Pradesh in the last five years, the government informed the Parliament on December 16.
