Tura, Dec 5: A substantial amount of narcotic drugs and a weapon besides live ammunition have been found in a vehicle and three men arrested by West Garo Hills police during an anti narcotic operation in Garobadha region on Sunday.
“Based on reliable source information, Anti Narcotic Task Force of West Garo Hills conducted an operation yesterday at Garobadha and recovered narcotics and weapons,” informed West Garo Hills Superintendent of Police Vivekanand Singh Rathore.
The seized items include 98 Nos. Nitcon10 tablets, 848 Nos. Tramadol Hydrochloride Acetaminophen & Decyclomine Hydrochloride Capsules.
Three Mobile Phones, a Black Air pistol, 1 No. Live Shotgun Cartridge, 1 No. Live 7.62 mm ammunition were also seized.
The vehicle with the consignment, a Silver Color Maruti Wagon R Car bearing R/No. AS-01-AK-6596 has also been taken into custody and three of the occupants arrested.

And Conrad K Marak, S/o (L) Dominic Ch. Marak, R/o Matchakolgre,Tura, WGH.
