As informed, Health Minister is travelling from Delhi to the State and has rescheduled the meeting with the Union on Tuesday at 10 am.

Last week, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong appealed to the agitating employees of the GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) to call off their ongoing strike assuring that the state government would soon discuss the contract signed with the company in the cabinet.

On the government’s assurance, the Union demanded that the Dy CM should give it in writing.

Notably, Syiemlieh informed that the union had a zoom meeting with Principal Health Secretary Sampath Kumar last week who has assured that the department has taken their demands into consideration.
