SHILLONG, JULY 5: Former MPCC chief Dr Celestine Lyngdoh has been appointed as convener of the political affairs committee of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee.

The constitution of the 12-member political affairs committee was approved by the Congress president on Tuesday, said a statement issued by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal.

The other members include MPCC chief Vincent H Pala, working presidents – Deborah Marak and PN Syiem, AT Mondal, RV Lyngdoh, Nehemayah Tyngkan, Wansuk Syiem, Sanjay Das, Charles Marngar, Gabriel Wahlang and Emlang Laloo.
