Shillong, April 26: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) central body met Power Minister, James K Sangma in his office on Monday.

With the new schedule of Load Shedding and with the on-going examinations (SSLC and HSSLC) of the students in the state, the FKJGP apprised the Power Minister to look into the matter, so that it will not affect the students preparing for their Board Examinations.

Power Minister responded positively that the Government and the department concerned will take necessary steps so that the load shedding will not affect the examinations of the students.

When asked about the time frame of the load shedding, “the Power Minister said will try his best to work out”, a senior member of the FKJGP said.

Also, the member has urged the Minister to find a quick alternative so that Load Shedding will not affect the on-going examinations.
