Full scale operation underway in Tura to get electricity restored

Must read

Tura, May 28: A major restoration operation is underway in Tura to get power restored to the town after Cyclone Remal brought down trees and electric posts plunging Tura into darkness for two consecutive nights.

While some of the localities have been cleared of debris and lines reconnected, several others remain under repair on Tuesday evening.

The main power supply from the 11kv line has been restored, according to officials, but the problem is with the low transmission LT lines that supply power to the localities for distribution to individual homes.
