Tura, Mar 2: The NPP alongwith its alliance partners in the GHADC has nominated NPP MDC of Gasuapara constituency, Sengchim M Sangma, to be their candidate for the election to the post of GHADC Chairman.

The election of Chairman of GHADC is taking place in Friday, March 4th, at 11 AM.

Sengchim won from Gasuapara constituency in South Garo Hills in the GHADC elections of 202. He defeated Devier M Sangma of the UDP who was the sitting MDC and brother of Baghmara MLA Samuel M Sangma.

Sengchim is a youth leader of the NPP and was also a student activist during his college days.
