As per reports, the smuggled gold biscuits are believed to be brought from Myanmar via Assam border.

“Most of the smuggling took place from the Myanmar. It enters into Assam through border routes. Sometimes the smuggled goods are caught during checking but most of the times the smugglers easily pass their smuggled goods through the routes,” said a source.
