Shillong, Feb 8: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma along with cabinet minister James Sangma and Snaiwbhalang Dhar called on Union Urban & Civil Aviation Minister Hardip Singh Puri. Chief Minister briefed the minister on different interventions being made to upgrade urban infrastructure in the State.

Chief Minister also requested for support for the construction of affordable housing for the poor.
He has also requested for central Govt’s support for financial aid to Williamnagar Water Supply project.
The State govt also requested for kind intervention of the ministry to expedite the expansion of Umroi & Baljek airport.
