Condemning the incident, the Home Minister assured that peace will be maintained at all cost.
On the other hand, opposition All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) legislator, George B Lyngdoh, slammed the Government for its failure to protect the people of the state.
“The low intensity blast in Khyndailad, which is the heart of Meghalaya is another strike to dislodge peace in the State. The State Govt has repeatedly been caught napping & failing to protect the people. I strongly condemn this act of cowardice,” Lyngdoh tweeted.
