Shillong, March 1: PHE Minister Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar on Monday attended the regional conference meet of the North Eastern states at Guwahati.
The meeting was chaired by the Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to review the implementation of JJM and SBM in North East India.

“I suggested to include urban villages under JJM and also to continuously support funding us as and when we need funds to enable us to reach the goal as targeted,” Tongkhar informed.
He added, “I have informed the ministry that we have started 2019 with 4550 FHTC and we completed today 213000 households.”
The PHE Minister said that the Union Minister has agreed to give all support and there is no problem relating to funding.
