SHILLONG, Oct 11: President of the KHNAM, East Jaintia District, Bhayes Chyrmang, on Tuesday joined the BJP.

BJP State President, Ernest Mawrie welcomed him to the party and invited him to join hands in working for the people.

While joining, Bhayes Chyrmang said that he has been inspired by the policies of the BJP government at the centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and that he now sincerely believes that the BJP can uplift the standard of living of the people of Meghalaya.

He urged the people of the state to judge the party only on the basis of the work that it is doing, and not on the basis of unfounded rumours being spread by other political parties.
