Shillong, Aug 26: Meghalaya government has approved the Meghalaya State Consumers Protection Rules, 2021.

After a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said the decision was based on the Supreme Court direction.

He said the rules will govern the functioning of the State Consumers Protection Commission.
