Shillong, Oct 3: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has finalized the candidates for the bye-elections to three Assembly seats in Meghalaya, scheduled for October 30, 2021 polling.

The party has decided to field Hasina Yasmin Mondal, widow of late Congress MLA Dr Azad Zaman, from Rajabala seat. Highlander Kharmalki will contest from Mawryngkneng, and Kennedy C. Khriem has been fielded from Mawphlang.

The names were announced on Sunday evening via a press statement signed by AICC General Secretary cum CEC in-charge, Mukul Wasnik.
