Shillong, July 5: Meghalaya Director General of Police (DGP), R Chandranathan has tested positive for COVID-19.

“The DGP was infected with COVID-19 day before yesterday (Saturday),” Health Minister, AL Hek told reporters on Monday.

He said the condition of the DGP is stable. “He is having mild symptoms and regular check up is being done by doctors from the Shillong Civil Hospital,” he said.
