Shillong, Oct 21: The 7th Ayurveda Day is going to be celebrated worldwide on October 23 under the theme “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda” which means “Ayurveda Everyday Ayurveda Everywhere” which aims to disseminate the knowledge amongst the people about the importance of Ayurveda in leading a healthy life.
Various activities to celebrate the 7th Ayurveda Day were planned and executed accordingly from September 12, 2022, which will culminate October 23, 2022. The activities commenced after the soft launch on September 12.
Keeping in view the theme of Ayurveda Day, activities were conducted under 3-Js i.e. Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari and Jan Aandolan and six weeklong events from September 12.
The events include :
• Ayurveda for Holistic Health
• Ayurveda for Millennials
• Ayurveda Aahar (Grains, millets/Rules)
• Ayurveda for Senior Citizens
• Ayurveda for Mental Wellbeing
• Ayurveda- Sharing of Experiences
The Ayush sector is rapidly growing and various career opportunities are emerging in various fields like food & medicine industries, academia, public health, research, tourism, services etc.
This year Ministry of Ayush has reached to grass root level to make people aware of benefits of Ayurveda. Ministry of Panchayati Raj has sent a letter to all Gram Pradhan/Sabha to organize programs and create awareness of Ayurveda.
Ayurveda Day 2022 celebration is being executed as a whole government approach.
