Shillong, Dec 17:  Nabon Women’s Synod College, which was established in the year 1996, on Thursday has celebrated its Silver jubilee (25 years anniversary) in the college premises at Mission Compound, Shillong.

Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui in his speech lauded the College management and how it has produced many bright students who have contributed directly and indirectly towards the society. “The MDA government has vowed to  prioritizing education… therefore, the MDA government will always put education as its first priority,” said Rymbui.

Rymbui also announced that the MDA Government has taken into consideration to support 9 colleges and by next year the government will inaugurate the Engineering College at Shillong and the Architecture College at Tura.
