Guwahati, Jan 30: The Indrani Mukherjee Story: Buried Truth will be released on Netflix on February 23. It will be released in collaboration with MakeMake.
The story will be an in-depth exploration of the notorious Sheena Bora murder case and the subsequent arrest of Indrani Mukherjee along with her husband, media tycoon Peter Mukherjee, in 2015.

The series delves into the events that captivated the nation. The Netflix release is set to offer a gripping account of the circumstances surrounding Sheena Bora’s vanishing act.
Indrani Mukerjea’s autobiography, “Unbroken,” laid bare the details of her life journey, recounting her formative years in Guwahati, experiences in 1980s Calcutta, rise to prominence in Mumbai’s media landscape, and the 2,460 days spent as a prisoner with number 1468 in Byculla jail.
Directed by Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl, produced by Terry Leonard, and featuring interviews with Indrani Mukerjea and her children as well as insights from journalists and lawyers, the docu-series aims to unravel the complex dynamics within the Mukerjea family and the motivations behind the shocking murder.
