Tura, March 19: Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik has cleared the names of the new Executive Committee of the GHADC under CEM Albinush Marak who will take charge of the various departments of the council and begin work from Monday.

The ten member Executive Committee under CEM Albinush Marak includes deputy CEM Nikman Marak and rebel Trinamool MDC Stevie Marak as well as UDP MDC Ashahel D Shira.

Two brothers-in-law of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma have also been included in the new EC, namely Grahambell A Sangma and Anseng A Sangma.

Two Independent MDCs have also been included in the EC, namely Arbinstone B Marak and Nathwalal S Marak.

Among the NPP MDCs who have been made executive members are Henen R Sangma, Linekar K Sangma, Sengbath R Marak and the two brothers-in-law of the chief minister mentioned earlier.

The portfolios of the new executive members are expected to be allocated by the CEM on Monday.
