Nongstoin, Jan 25: An LPG truck traveling from Shillong to Nongtoin delivering LPG cylinders met with an accident at JaidohKroh, Nongspung West Khasi Hills on Monday.
The truck bearing registration number AS 18C 4424. The driver of the said LPG truck has been identified as Bhopen Boro (27) of Boko, Assam.
Herbert G Lyngdoh, Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills said, “Reaching Jaidoh Kroh Nongspung West Khasi Hills the truck capsized on the turning, the driver was taken to Civil hospital Nongstoin for medical treatment.”
The driver sustained minor injuries in the incident.
