Rymbui inaugurates water supply scheme for Mupyut Village

Jowai, Dec 7: The MLA of Amlarem constituency and Home Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui, on Wednesday inaugurated the water supply scheme for Mupyut Village, West JaiƱtia Hills District, which was constructed under the JJM and around 417 households will benefit from this project.

The Scheme was constructed at a cost of Rs. 7,46,19,600 and it was inaugurated in the presence of R. Kynjing, Executive Engineer PHE, Lamdibok Sumer, the former MDC of War East, amongst others.

Rymbui recalled that the foundation stone for the project was laid down last year along with the school building of the L.P School, which was sanctioned at Rs. 37 lakhs.

At the same time, he urged the villagers to take care of the development infrastructures in the village as their own so that each and every villager will benefit from them.

The Minister also handed over the work orders to the Good Shepherd English School, Mupyut, amounting to Rs 8 lakh, the Madan Tyrpaid R.C School – Rs. 4 lakhs and to Mupyut U.P School – Rs. 7 lakh.
