Shillong, May 22: The Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong ka Bri U Hynniewtrep (SNSBH) on Monday decided to constitute a core committee to discuss the implementation of the roster system and reservation policy.

The decision was taken at a meeting held in the city here. Over 50 headmen from different localities attended the meeting.

The 11-member core committee will be headed by the Secretary of the Synjuk, RL Blah.

Speaking to media persons, Blah said that the core committee was constituted to discuss the roster system and the reservation policy before attending a meeting called by the state government with all stakeholders on May 26.

According to him, the committee would seek more clarity from the state government on many issues related to the roster system and reservation policy.
