Shillong, April 20 : In a major push to eradicate tuberculosis (TB) by 2025, healthcare providers across the state initiated a new approach called Differentiated TB Care. Under the program TB patients are provided with unique support and tailor made treatment plans.

“Differentiated TB Care” focuses on the individual needs of every patient,” by understanding their circumstances, we can offer more effective care, leading to faster recovery and better outcomes, stated an health official.

This initiative includes home visits by healthcare workers, ensuring patients receive the right attention they need at home. The approach not only improves access to care but also tackles challenges patients. Differentiated TB Care goes beyond treating the disease, it empowers patients to take charge of their well-being.
