The Manipur Congress on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) Manipur branch office at Chingmeirong in Imphal, opposing what they called the “arbitrary seizure” of National Herald’s assets and the filing of chargesheets against senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

The Manipur Congress has opposed any potential delimitation exercises in the state based on the 2001 census data.
