Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Justice Sanjib Banerjee, on Saturday inaugurated the new District & Sessions Court building at Mendipathar, Resubelpara in North Garo Hills district.

The oath was administered by Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court Sanjib Banerjee.

Further, mentioning that Phulbari is expected to be the next commercial hub of the region, he said that commercialization has both advantages and disadvantages adding that undesirable goods such as drugs, etc also comes along with it. He therefore, cautioned the parents to be aware of it and keep the children away from these things.

The inauguration of the Circuit Court was held in the presence of Power of Minister, Government of Meghalaya, Abu Taher Mondal. and Justice H. S. Thangkhiew, Judge, High Court of Meghalaya.
