Shillong, Sept 25: The MDC of Shella Constituency, Teiñwell Dkhar, during the KHADC session on Monday expressed disappointment over the inadequate fencing and upkeep of the MDC hostel located at the KHADC office, which has now become a refuge for stray dogs.

Dkhar, representing Shella, emphasised that these stray animals pose a threat to everyone, including the MDCs and their families residing in the hostel.
In response, KHADC’s Chief Executive Member (CEM), Pyniaid Sing Syiem, assured that he would prioritise this issue and engage with the state government to ensure the hostel’s safety for MDCs and their families.
