Tura, May 6: The twelfth match of the Tura Football League between Selsella SA and Dadenggre YC took place on Monday at the P. A. Sangma Stadium in Dakopgre, where Selsella secured a 5-0 victory against Dadenggre.
The initial minutes of the game were slow, with both teams struggling to adjust to the natural grass of the stadium. The entire first half saw empty passes, numerous offsides, and sorry attempts at scoring from both sides.
The only highlight of the first half occurred when Chiranjit Rabha of Selsella SA had a chance to score from a penalty kick in the 39th minute.
Returning from halftime, the players of Selsella SA seemed rejuvenated after a pep talk with their manager. They dominated ball possession in the early minutes of the second half, leading to goals from Jempujiang Sangma and Tengsu Sangma in the 53rd and 54th minutes, respectively.
The Dadenggre defense was caught off guard when Nikseng Marak of Selsella SA capitalized on space to score in the 67th minute.
While Dadenggre continued to struggle with incomplete passes and missed shots, Chiranjit Rabha scored his second goal of the match in the 86th minute, securing a 5-0 victory for Selsella SA.
Dandan Marak of Dadenggre YC received the only yellow card of the game in the 39th minute.
