Shillong, Mar 16: An unidentified body of a male aged between 25-30 has been recovered by police at Lummawbah, Upper Shillong on Wednesday morning.

The body was found by people in a temporary stall set-up during Covid, opposite to Army School (Junior Wing). It was lying in a pool of blood with a deep cut in the throat and bruises in the thighs.The body was retrieved and sent to Civil Hospital, Shillong for post-mortem examination. Furthermore, a case has been registered and the authorities are conducting an investigation to ascertain the identity of the man.
