New Delhi, June 05: In the recent Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured 292 seats, surpassing the Opposition alliance – INDIA, which won 232 seats.
Despite the NDA crossing the majority mark of 272, the INDIA bloc has given them a tough fight, turning the election into a closely contested battle.

However, the final results have shown a spirited challenge from the INDIA bloc. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers, expressing confidence that the NDA would form the government for the third time, but the contest remains intense.
