Shillong, Jan 3: While the rest of the world welcomed the New Year, busy making resolutions and plans, a family in Shillong was rushing to the hospital, fighting to save their son’s life after he was stabbed on January 1.
The injured victim, identified as 23-year-old Deva Kharkongor, was rushed to NEIGRIHMS in Shillong for treatment. He sustained serious injuries after he was stabbed with a scissor on the left side of his ribs and in his right eye at around 9:38 PM at the Ghumti parking lot of the Cantonment area in Shillong.
