Shillong, Aug 31: Five Kickboxers from Meghalaya won six medals under different categories at the recently held WAKO India Senior National Kickboxing Championship 2021.
The WAKO India Senior National Kickboxing Championship 2021 was organised by the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation at Dayanand Bandodkar Stadium, Mapusa, Goa from August 26 to 29, and supported by the Ministry of Sports, Government of India.
Hame Shaniah Suiam won the Gold Medal in Senior Men (Point Fight) 57 kg weight category and a Silver Medal in Senior Men (Point Fight) 63 kg weight category.
Nisanshwa Lyngdoh Bronze Medal (Senior Women K1 -48 kg), Bantei Sungoh won the Bronze Medal (Senior Men Low Kick – 60 kg), Arthur Cornelli N K won Bronze (Senior Men K1 – 75 kg) and Pynnehbor Mylliemngap won Bronze (Senior Men Musical Form Hard Style).
