Shillong, Oct 2: The 67th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) celebrated the 43rd Raising Day at the Battalion Headquarters, Polo on Saturday.

It is known that this battalion of Central Reserve Police Force was formed in Madhya Pradesh in 1980. Since then, the battalion has given its services in maintaining internal security from Jammu & Kashmir to various states of the country. Presently, this battalion is stationed in Meghalaya, informed the 67-CRPF’s Battalion Commandant Alok Bhattacharjee.
The day is celebrated to mark the contribution of the force in upholding the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation.
