New Delhi, May 12: Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, announced AAP’s “10 guarantees” for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, emphasized on a range of welfare initiatives such as free electricity and enhanced healthcare. Kejriwal stressed on the contrast between his party’s proven track record and the BJP’s alleged failures in fulfilling promises.

He said, “Kejriwal’s pledges and is committed to provide 24-hour electricity nationwide, drawing from Delhi’s successful model. Additionally, he vowed to offer up to 200 units of free electricity to economically disadvantaged individuals, estimated with a cost of ₹1.25 lakh crore.”

Another significant guarantee focused on transforming government school education. Kejriwal proposed a ₹5 lakh crore investment, split equally between state and central governments. He assured ₹5 lakh crore to upgrade government hospitals and expand healthcare access, envisioning the establishment of Mohalla clinics in every community.

Kejriwal also addressed geopolitical concerns, pledged to reclaim Indian land occupied by China and discontinue the controversial Agniveer scheme. He advocated for farmers’ rights, endorsing MSP as per the Swaminathan Commission report.

Kejriwal’s political ambitions extends beyond AAP, as he aligns with the Opposition INDIA coalition to challenge the BJP-led NDA in the upcoming elections.
