Shillong, July 25: A. Balasubramanian, Managing Director of Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to alert the public about a rising wave of fraudulent activities involving his name and profile.

Balasubramanian stated, “It has come to my knowledge that some unscrupulous persons have created fake websites, social media accounts, and in particular, groups/links on WhatsApp, Telegram, and LinkedIn, illegally and unauthorizedly impersonating my name and profile with an intent to defraud unsuspecting investors and the public at large.”
He emphasized that Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited had already issued a notice to warn the public and reported the issue to the cyber cell of Mumbai Police for appropriate action.
“I wish to reiterate that I am in no way associated with these links, groups, or the persons associated with these platforms. I advise the general public not to fall prey to these fraudulent platforms/fake accounts/groups/websites and beware of such scams and not remit any money through the links shared by such platforms/groups/links/websites,” Balasubramanian added.
He urged the public to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any platforms or persons claiming to be him before interacting with them. “In case you have come across such fake platforms, please report them to the appropriate authorities immediately,” he advised.
