Shillong, February 25 : After two hours of fighting, the firefighters have managed to douse the raging flames that engulfed the century-old Shillong Bar Association.

The incident happened around 10:15 PM on Saturday.

Fire fighters douse the blazing flames at around 12:25 AM.

With four fire brigades and more than 15-20 firefighters from the Fire and Emergency Service rushing to the scene.

CM Conrad K Sangma, along with Deputy CM in charge of Urban Affairs, Sniawbhalang Dhar, rushed to the scene to assess the situation.
