Baghmara, Dec 13: The Member of Parliament from Tura, Agatha K. Sangma, on Wednesday laid the foundation for the construction of Boulder Sausage wall along the bank of Simsang river (Rompa bridge to Baptist Cemetery) and Construction of Community Hall at Jatrakona Adhoc UP School Hall, Baghmara at Don Bosco Hall.
Agatha expressed her gratitude towards the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma for utilizing CM’s Development Funds for the construction of bridges, School Buildings and for other infrastructure projects.
She also thanked the District Officers for their dedication for successful Implementation of such projects which will not be possible if existence of good and able officers are not available in the District.
Other present on the occasion were Satto R Marak, Co- Chairman of Programme Implementation and Monitoring Committee, J.D. Sangma, Chairman of Tura Municipal Board, P.R.Marak, Project Director of DRDA and other dignitaries.
In Chokpot Assembly, She laid the foudation of re-construction of Mibonpara Govt. Aided Secondary School and impovement of playground at Rongru Asimgre, Jetra, Chokpot under Chief Minister Special Development Fund (CMSDF).
