Koch, District Child Protection Officer Mrs. Abeeda G. Momin, Maternity and Child Officer Dr. Rikrak Ch. Marak, and Gasuapara Health Sub-Centre Dr. Bishardame Suchiang.

It aims to make people aware of the ill effects of substance abuse and curb the menace of drug addiction in society.

This awareness programme seeks to combat these challenges by equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to resist the pressures and temptations that often lead to substance abuse.

Child and early age marriage remains a grave violation of human rights, affecting millions of children globally. The practice perpetuates a cycle of poverty and limited opportunities for education and personal development, haunting the lives of young boys and girls.

Through the early marriage protection programme, it aims to raise awareness, mobilise communities, engage stakeholders, and enact policies to eradicate the prevalence of child or early marriages.

The awareness programme featured a range of educational activities and interactive sessions led by a Gasuapara police station officer as general secretary of CEB HQ Tura.
